The "Iris" and the "Iris" Leggings

The Iris is one of my truly favourite flowers.

I have always loved this flower, and it holds special memories for me. It reminds me of a dear friend who left us far too early, and I think of her whenever I see one of these delicate and beautiful blooms.

I was lucky enough to find a bunch of Iris’s in a wonderful garden and park nearby.  I just caught the light (or lack of it) against a shed wall, and again loved the way it made the flowers pop.
