The "Iris" Story

"Iris"

The Iris is one of my truly favourite flowers.

I found these two toned beauties in Filberg Park in Comox BC.  I liked the two tone white and purple, which was a bit of a surprise, as I have only ever seen the deep purple iris.

This beautiful flower reminds me of a dear friend who left us far too early, and I think of her whenever I see one of these delicate and beautiful blooms.
